Petworth´s flourishing and vibrant business community comes together as the Petworth Business association (PBA), established in 2008 to promote local commerce in and around Petworth. Since its foundation, the organisation has developed close links with the Town Council and Petworth House (National Trust).
The PBA has recently merged with the Petworth Antiques and Decorative Arts Association (PAADA), a move designed to further strengthen the work of the association in the future, as Jackie Tudor, chairman of the PBA explains: "The coming together of the two largest organisations in Petworth is a very positive move for all businesses, retail outlets and the community at large in Petworth. The strength of our combined membership together with our dedication to working more closely with the Town Council will enhance our ability to promote business and community interests alike. By encouraging local commerce to flourish, we hope to stimulate continued investment in the town and so make Petworth an attractive and prosperous place to live and work."
